Morning at Tashichho Dzong, seat of the Royal Government, followed by a quiet circuit of the Memorial Chorten among local worshippers.

Over Dochula Pass to Punakha

The 108 chortens at Dochula Pass mark the crossing into warmer country. Afternoon at Punakha Dzong, set at the confluence of two rivers.
